Freemium is a sales generation model that DELAYS GRATIFICATION, PROJECTS LONG TERM and GUARANTEES HIGH-LEVEL GOODWILL .
Freemium is the model that ENDEARS people to you, makes them feel INDEBTED to you (RECIPROCITY) and makes it easy for them to choose to HELP you.
Freemium is practiced when a Brand, Business or Idea GIVES WHOLEHEARTEDLY to her prospective market. This can be in form of TIME, KNOWLEDGE, MATERIAL GIFTS, OPPORTUNITIES, OFFERINGS, etc. A Brand can be generous with her MONEY, PRODUCTS, NETWORKS, LEVERAGES, and anything just to CATCH YOUR ATTENTION & STEAL YOUR HEART.
This model is practiced by EVERYONE who has succeeded in Business, if you take a very close look.
You have a FREE Gmail account.. you exhaust the free space then you subscribe for MORE SPACE.
You have a FREE Facebook account then you want more people to see what you do, sell or offer, then you PAY for Ads.
You download a mobile app FOR FREE and when you need MORE FUNCTIONALITIES, you upgrade by buying a subscription plan.
iPhone users pay for iCloud and iTunes services when the free offer is not ‘offering’ again.
FREEMIUM RULES THE WORLD.
If you want to command CULT ADDICTION, then make sure your Brand Community strategy is BUILT ON Freemium as an ENTICEMENT MODEL.
