Zainab Mustapha Jaji

With at least 2 decades in the project management and human capital development space, Mrs J, as she is known has carved a strong niche in the industry with strong specialisation in education training.  Zainab has worked in several industries ranging from international commodities trading, drum manufacturing, poultry farming, maritime services and the IT Services sector.
 
 
As an avid entrepreneur, Zainab is also deeply involved with various women’s groups to strengthen the roles of women in the SME Space.
 
 
In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria under the flagship African Women Entrepreneurs Programme (AWEP), she has been able to aid in the empowerment of over 1000 women under the AWEP Green Gold Project and other projects. Her passion for enhanced access to education led to her being appointed as the chairperson of the Governing Council of the College of Education in Taraba State.
 
 
Zainab is a graduate of Politics and International Relations from the University of Warwick UK and a Masters in International Relations from the University of Reading, UK, with a written Thesis on the ‘Social, political and Economic Implications of the Debt Crisis in Sub-Saharan Africa- With Special Reference to Nigeria’. As a leader in the entrepreneurship space, Zainab was selected to attend the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP) with 22 other women from 12 African countries in the United States. In addition, she is an Alumni of the Geneva Centre for Security Policy having completed its leadership programme.

Zainab is an avid writer on social issues with a titled column known as ‘Zee’s Corner’, community leader as well as a cattle and dairy farmer in Adamawa State. Mrs J loves to speak and engage on subject areas including politics, education, human rights and the economy as it relates to women and SME’s.
